Design Refinery helped extend the Powerade brand into a new category with the launch of Powerade Freezer Bars. This project called for a packaging system that captured the drink’s athletic edge, refreshed the category, and made a statement—both in-store and online.

The Challenge
Translate Powerade’s high-energy identity into the frozen aisle—without losing the boldness and credibility of the original product line.
We needed to deliver a design that immediately resonated with loyal Powerade fans, stood out in the freezer case, and converted quickly in digital retail environments.
The Solution
We designed a bold packaging system to launch Powerade Freezer Bars, bringing the brand’s signature energy into the frozen aisle. The design extended Powerade’s iconic color palette and visual language across cartons and stick film—built for shelf impact and brand consistency.
To support the digital rollout, we created Amazon hero images, 3D product renders, and ecommerce-ready visuals used across retail platforms, social media, and Powerade’s website. Every asset was crafted to drive recognition, conversions, and brand continuity across physical and digital shelves.
